Meet Boo

Boo is 1 year old, Maine Coon mix. Last year, when I lived

in Atlanta for 10 months, a young mother cat, decided that the best

place for her and her kittens was at a good friends' house. I went to

visit mom and her babies several times. All though all the kittens were

adorable, I fell in love with one of the males. Even at just a few weeks

old, he was always on the go. As much as I loved this busy little guy and

wanted to adopt him, I couldn't because my 15 year old kitty, Bubba had

Chronic Renal Failure and I was concerned if I could give Mork (his given

name) the care he deserved. Since I had 4 cats, money was tight.

Several weeks after I was in Atlanta, my beloved Bubba, went to the

Rainbow Bridge.

Normally, after one of my kitties goes to the Rainbow Bridge,

I wait for awhile to get another kitty. But, Mork was different. He

needed a forever home and I could give it to him. I asked my friend

if I could adopt him, she of course, agreed. A few days later, Mork

came to his new home. He wasn't scared of my other cats. His

attitude was a "Your new my family and like or not not, get used to

it" He wanted to be friend with them and they didn't know what

to think of him.

The first thing I did was change his name! I had told my friend

that I was going to name him Buford, but that was just to tease her.

Then his name was going to be Starbucks, Star for short, because

of my addiction to Starbucks. A few days later, I learned that my

very good friend Karen, lost her beloved. Boo, Boo's real name was

Kitten K. Boodles. In honor of Boo, I decided to name Mork,

Kaboodles....Boo for short.

Boo is a great little guy but very busy. He gets into everything,

is curious about everything and eats any type of food! As for toys,

he thinks thinks the house is one giant toy box. He love to play with

his brother and sister, even when they don't want to play. He's lucky

that they are very good with him. Because of all this, I say "No Boo"

alot, he just acts like he doesn't understand. None of the training

disciplines that I use, don't work. He's a really happy little guy. He sort

of  acts like a puppy. He loves people and everyone he meets becomes

his good friend. Boo is very affectionate and loving. For a long time

I thought Boo was a long haired Tabby cat, until my vet told me that

he's a Maine Coon mix. If you'd like to see more of Boo, click on the
