Meet Max

 

Max is 4 year old and became part of our family in Sept 2002

when he was 3 months old. Max is a Blue Point Traditional

Siamese...sometimes called Applehead Siamese. I got Max

from a breeder in PA. His mother's name is Martha, his father's

name is Drew. Max and Sam really are family. Their mother's

are sisters and they share the same father. Although, I didn't

get Max for breeding purposes, I had thought of registering him

with the TCA...Traditional Cat Assocation. Because, I had thought doing

this I had to give him a name that would have been acceptable for

registration. So, Max's real name is Maxwell Miles Davis., but if you

called him that, we would have no idea that you're talking to him :)

Max does have a problem with sneezing alot and has been seen

by our vet several times for this. Since he doesn't get congested

our vet things he has a mild airborne allergy. For now, she's not

worried about it although if it gets worse, he'll have to go for

allergy testing.

 

Out of all my cats, Max is the most laid back kitty. I've never had a

cat this mellow and easy going. He used to be really close with Sam

but since Boo came to our family, he likes hanging out with Boo.

His favorite thing to do is cuddle. When he wants attention,

he will give strong headbonks to let you know he's there. When

he lowers his head, it means he wants a kiss on the head. When

he was a little guy, Max liked to hang out with Sam, but now that

he's got a little brother, Max likes hanging out with Boo. His

favorite toy is Feather on a Stick and his favorite time of the

day is treat time. Max likes opening drawers then getting in them

to sleep. I've had to learn that when a drawer is open, to check to make

sure that Max isn't in the drawer sleeping.
